Alicia Kubert Smith joined theSkittzo as an author in October of 2008.

Alicia is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Public Communication at American University. She holds a passionate interest in human rights, education, international conflict/development, and equality issues.

Alicia was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and grew up primarily in Denver, Colorado. She has since spent her time in Hawaii and Virginia, and is now located in Washington, DC.

Alicia’s additional written works have appeared in DC Stories, Hawaii Reporter and Hawaii Liberty Chronicles.
